We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to support our marketing analytics team in delivering high-quality data insights for our clients. This role will focus on client reporting, data quality assurance, and the maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring that our data-driven strategies are consistently reliable and actionable. Ideal candidates will have an interest or foundational experience in SQL or Python, with a passion for data analysis and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating, updating, and delivering client reports with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks on client-facing reports to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines to support efficient data flow across platforms and client databases.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to identify and resolve data discrepancies in client reporting.
- Assist in the validation of statistical and machine learning models to inform marketing strategy for key clients.
- Help monitor and document data sources, updates, and workflows for improved data management.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for client performance tracking, leveraging analytical tools and visualizations.
- Extract and analyze data using SQL or Python to provide insights that drive client strategy.
- Assist with ad hoc data requests, responding promptly and with a focus on clear, actionable insights.
- Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on strategies to improve data-driven marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Marketing Analytics).
- Foundational knowledge or experience in SQL or Python.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Interest in marketing analytics and understanding client needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
- Prior experience in an internship or project-based role in data analysis, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
