NCbar.org Wins Luminary Award for Excellence in Websites
Back to NewsroomNCbar.org, a website designed by TriMark Digital for the North Carolina Bar Association, has won the 2015 Luminary Award for Excellence in Websites. The Luminary Awards are distributed by the National Association of Bar Executives each year to highlight outstanding work among bar communication professionals nationwide.
The website, launched a year ago for the NCBA, was selected as the winner of the Large Bar Division, which consists of associations with 15,000 or more members. Judges cited the streamlined content, and the clean new design as the primary reasons for the site’s selection as this year’s winner.
Websites eligible for the award were judged on 5 metrics:
- Design
- Navigability
- Innovation and Technical Excellence
- Content (Analytical resources, current news, and links)
- Success in meeting state objectives and reaching target audience
The judges set out to select a website that “exemplifies excellence in usefulness, ease of use, content, and design in meeting the needs of the website’s targeted audience.” For the new NCbar.org, TriMark Digital and the NCBA collaborated to create an enhanced user experience, developing a new design, consolidating content and introducing an intuitive interface.
